Wilkes NCWorks Hosts Monthly Job Fair & Chamber Leadership
Last week the NCWorks Career Center of Wilkes hosted their monthly Working Wednesday job fair. This monthly event allows employers to setup on site and meet with job seekers and conduct initial interviews. Nine employers met with over 50 job seekers during the afternoon event. Following the job fair, the Wilkes Chamber of Commerce Leadership group visited the center and learned about the many resources available to employers and job seekers as part of their community tour.
