Wilkes Chamber Hosts Women in Leadership Event
On March 16th the Wilkes Chamber of Commerce celebrated Women’s History Month by hosting a Women in Leadership event. NC Department of Commerce Secretary Machelle Baker Sanders presented the keynote and spoke about leadership and the value of women in the workforce. Staff from the NCWorks Career Center in Wilkes and the High Country Workforce Development Board attended the event.
