Wilkes Central High School Part of $2 Million Grant Supporting College & Career Readiness

Seven high schools across NC were selected to be part of a $2 million grant funded from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act to pilot the Jobs for North Carolina’s Graduates program that will assist students with graduating and preparing for a career. Administered through Communities in Schools, staff is in place at Wilkes Central High School to implement the college and career readiness program.
